Eduardo Chillida Juantegegui was a Spanish-Basque sculptor famous for his giant, abstract works. Born in San Sebastian in 1924, Chillida was a goal keeping before going to the University of Madrid to study architecture. His works are full of movement and pressure all on a massive scale. Chillida is also known for a formidable collection of etching, lithographs and woodcuts. He passed away at his home at the age of 78.
